Constructing a bodice by freehand

If you read my last post I mentioned the use of a pencil and paper to draw out the end result of what you want to make. Today we are going to start with constructing the simplest of all, a bodice. A bodice is basically a top without sleeves as seen in the picture below. 

Basic Bodice

Constructing a bodice by freehand is quite easy to achieve just follow the instructions in the video down below and you are on your way to making your own dresses.

I will be using a cardboard to demonstrate how to construct a bodice using my own measurements.
